The ancient cedar trees that have died and weathered in the Garden of the Gods have a unique beauty.
I am very fond of driftwood found in the mountains and at the ocean.
I find so much beauty in their weathered forms, and just as with rock formations I imagine I see various creatures and faces.
This one reminded me of a Praying Mantis – very spindly and looking as if about to pounce.
What do you see?
And this one has a smile upon its face.
His feet are curled backwards, making it a challenge for him to leave his vantage point.
And he has an arm raised in Celebration of the hikers passing by who are enjoying the beauty of the surrounding area.
Can you feel the spirit of this ancient cedar tree shining through in this image?
