Beautiful Blue Sky Day at the Garden of the Gods!
A little windy at times, but mostly just gorgeous weather for a hike on the Palmer Trail.
I so needed a hike in the sunshine and this was a perfect day for that.
A friend wants a picture of Pikes Peak on her web site header, so just posting a series of photos I took today.
Which one is your favorite?

Yes, I am sure that is the incline on the hillside. Garden of the Gods red rock formations in the foreground and Pikes Peak in the background.
I can totally understand why Katherine Lee Bates was inspired by this mountain to write America The Beautiful so many years ago.
Every view of this unique park and our majestic Pikes Peak makes my heart soar when I view it from many different trails.
I am so blessed to live on the street that leads up to it, and so close to so many hikes where I can view it.
Every season adds some special touch to this beautiful mountain.
